Ukraine Claims Sinking of Russian Submarine in Missile Strike

It is a under-reported story but Ukraine has destroyed a large part of the Russian Southern Fleet. First, the Moskva, the Russian flagship, was sunk. Then several smaller boats. And now, one of four submarines. Additionally, Ukraine bombed a military depot in Russia.

All of this shows the effectiveness of allowing Ukraine to strike Russia where it chooses. One hopes the Biden administration will change its policy and support Ukraine doing so.

Top House Dem blasts 'nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine' approach

This is 2 months old, but I just saw.

Rep Smith (D-WA) openly challenged the American-Ukraine partnership. A cornerstone of Ukraine policy is “no discussion about Ukraine without Ukraine”, meaning simply that Ukraine won’t accept its allies bargaining away Ukrainian sovereignty without Ukrainian participation.

Of course, it has been Russia’s goal in rhetoric and action to discuss Ukraine’s fate without Ukraine’s participation. It is part and parcel of the world view that Ukraine is not a nation.

What is odd is to see a high-ranking Democract echo Russian talking points.
