As part of our effort to promote the American Ukraine relationship and provide information to all supporters of Ukraine, the AmUkrPAC has produced a new Congressional Report Card, which shows the voting record of every member of Congress on key bills. The report also provides a simple rating of Strong Supporter of Ukraine, Supporter of Ukraine and Negative so each voter can see clearly how their Congressmen votes.
Congressional support for the American-Ukraine relationship remains strong with a solid majority of both parties obtaining Strong Supporter or Supporter status.
All key bills for Ukraine, including the H.R. 8035: Ukraine Security Supplemental Appropriations Act passed with overwhelming majorities. This last bill had 311 votes in favor and 188 against and the Senate version had 79 votes in support with 19 against.
“Our goal with this scorecard is to provide a clear and accurate measure of Congressional support for Ukraine,” said Jed Sunden of the American Ukraine PAC. “It is vital to have clear, non-partisan and unbiased information about Congress as Americans go to vote in November.”
The release of the Congressional Scorecard is part of American Ukraine PAC’s ongoing efforts to promote the American Ukraine relationship. The organization encourages voters to use this tool to engage with their representatives and advocate for policies that align with the values of democracy and promote Ukrainian victory.”
The new scorecard is available on the American Ukraine PAC website at https://www.amukrpac.org/report
