4/1: Next 3 Fundraisers Planned
The Ukraine Caucus is a bi-partisan group which has advocated for key legislation in support of the American-Ukraine relationship. Additionally, many members have travelled to Ukraine to meet with the Ukrainian government and see the facts on the ground.
The AmUkrPAC is dedicated to supporting Congressmen who support the American-Ukraine relationship. I believe donations to key members of Congress is the best way that we, as Americans, can support Ukraine today.
Two of the four co-chairs of the Ukraine Caucus are in tough races due to redistricting. Rep Brian Fitzpatrick PA-1 is a Republican in a +2 Biden district and Rep Marcy Kaptur OH-9 is a Democrat in a +2 Trump district. Both are veteran legislators with a strong, local base and a record of winning close elections. Additionally, Rep Don Bacon NE-2 is another strong Ukraine supporter and member of the Ukraine caucus who is in a tough race and needs financial support.
These races will not be decided on the Ukraine issue, but it would be a terrible result for the American-Ukraine relationship is its leaders lost re-election bids.
For Fitzpatrick and Kaptur, AmUkrPAC will be joining existing efforts by the local Ukrainian community. The donations for AmUkrPAC will amplify their efforts and reaffirm that their votes on Ukraine matter beyond their district. For Rep Bacon, the support of AmUkrPAC will show support for his strong stance on national security and the American-Ukraine relationship.
I hope you will consider donating to these fund-raisers. Please note, the maximum is 3,300 to each campaign or 5,000 to the general fund. Every dollar donated will be given to the candidate. I will be donating the maximum to each. Any amount will be helpful.
