Jewish Community comes out in support of Ukraine and Rep Lawler (NY 17)

Chief Rabbi of Ukraine Yaakov Dov Bleich and the American Ukraine PAC held an event in support of Rep Michael Lawler to underscore his strong support for the American-Ukraine relationship.

Community members came out in strong support for the Congressman and Ukraine, including businessmen, recent immigrants as well as representatives of the annual pilgrimage to Uman, Ukraine for Rosh Hashannah. A

Rep Lawler represents NY 17, which includes Monsey, Airmont and other towns with a large Jewish population. Rep Lawler sits on the Foreign Affairs Committee as well as Financial Services, which both play an important role in the American-Ukraine relationship.
