NYTimes: UK PM to Biden: No Time to go Wobbly

30 years ago, as President Bush mulled over how to respond to the Iraq invasion of Kuwait, UK PM Margaret Thatcher told him bluntly “Remember George, this is no time to go wobbly.”

Biden continues the slowest possible roil-out of new policy for Ukraine in the run-up to meeting with UK PM Starmer. This directly after Sec of State Blinken met in Kyiv with UK counterpart Lammy.

Actual NY Times Headline: Biden Poised to Approve Ukraine’s Use of Long-Range Western Weapons.

Apparently, the UK has already signed off on the approval.

Really, No time to go wobbly, Joe.

Or to quote a joke making its way around Kyiv:

We don’t understand why the US put so many restrictions on the ATACMS. We are more than happy to share them with our neighbor.

NYTimes: Russian Missile Hit Grain Ship in Black Sea

Another day, another Russian attack on civilian targets. Russia escalates hostilities in the Black Sea and violates maritime law. The ship was registered to a third-party country while located in the economic zone waters of Romania. No response from NATO as of yet.
